چکیده
The hot deformation characteristics of M50 steel in the temperature range 900–1150 °C and strain-rate 0.01–10 s−1 was investigated this study using a Gleeble-3800 thermal simulation testing machine. true stress–strain curves showed that resistance increased with decreasing temperature, increasing strain rate before peak stress reached. After stress, dynamic reversion occurred, consequently, decreased. softening phenomenon more obvious when low. calculated values deformation-activation energy Q index n were 233,684.2 J/mol 5.025568, respectively. On basis, Arrhenius-type constitutive equation established, addition, polynomial fit based on performed to obtain 9th-order strain-compensated high fitting accuracy. By processing flow curves, maps constructed, optimal predicted be 1070–1150 0.01–1 s−1. recrystallization behavior also studied by constructing kinetic model combining optical microscope (OM) electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) observation. results show increase degree transformation accordingly, original grains gradually replaced recrystallized grains. Besides, process zone for processing, grew temperature.

High Temperature Deformation Behavior of Cr-containing Superplastic Iron Aluminide
Superplastic deformation and high temperature load relaxation behavior of coarse-grained iron aluminides with the composition of Fe-28 at.% Al have been investigated. A series of load relaxation and tensile tests were conducted at temperatures ranging from 600 to 850C. The flow curves obtained from load relaxation tests were found to have a sigmoidal shape and to exhibit stress vs. strain rate ...
متن کاملMicrostructure and High Temperature Deformation Behavior of Cast 310S Alloy
High temperature deformation behavior of cast 310S stainless steel has been investigated in this study by performing tensile and compression tests at temperatures from 900 to 1200C. Rectangular ingots of which the dimensions were 350×350×100 in millimeter were cast using vacuum induction melting. Phase equilibrium was calculated using the FactSage®, thermodynamic software and database. Thermal ...
متن کاملHot Deformation Behavior of 17-7 PH Stainless Steel
To investigate the hot deformation behavior of 17-7 PH stainless steel, hot compression tests were carried out at the temperatures of 950, 1050 and 1150 oC and strain rates of 0.001 s-1 to 0.1 s-1. Accordingly, the hot working behavior was studied by the analyses of flow stress curves, work hardening rate versus stress curves, exponent- type constitutive equations and deformed microstructures. ...
متن کاملHigh Temperature Behavior of Dual Phase Steels
Dual phase steels with different martensite volume fraction and morphology were tensile tested at a temperature range of 25 to 5500C. Stress-strain curves of all steels showed serration flow at temperatures of 250 and 3500C, and smooth flow at the other temperatures. Both yield and ultimate tensile strengths increased with increasing testing temperature up to about 450<sup...
متن کاملEffect of Deformation Temperature on the Mechanical Behavior of a New TRIP/TWIP Steel Containing 21% Manganese
In recent years, TRIP/TWIP steels have been the focus of great attention thanks due to their excellent tensile strength-ductility combination. The compression tests were performed at different temperatures from 25 to1000°C to study the mechanical behavior of advanced austenitic steel with 21% manganese plus bearing Ti. The results indicated that the plastic deformation is controlled by deformat...
